Top 5 Best Fitness Tracker App Android
Challenges by Nexercise
Nexercise is simple. Work out, get rewarded. Users can win free samples
or discount every time they exercise, which can be used toward gift
cards or donated to charity. What we love about this app company is that
they are highly educated, which may have helped them in creating an
awesome fitness tool with 1.2 million downloads. The developers of the
app met at Wharton business school, where they came up with the concept
for Nexercise, and combined it with the capability of smart phones to
create the app we know today.
Losing weight or getting fit is mostly power of will dressed with just a little of action. That's not a mystery anymore, you've read it a thousand of times. Since we all are capable to perform that a little action successfully, the great challenge is keeping us motivated to integrate workouts and healthy diet as a routine. Fortunately, there are tools to help you achieve it. Nexercise is one of them. Logging and keeping you motivated. That's Nexercise's keystone.
Logging is mandatory to keep track of your progress. You can log any activity your workout is based on: running, Crossfit, Walking, Weightlifting... and many more. Track the time you spend doing it and the miles you complete. Your activity level may earn your rewards. Workouts give you XP and ranks. Activity days and total time, XP and rank is all displayed on a summary at Nexercise's home. You can resume activity whenever you want and check your progress on the Weight graph.

Google Fit
An open platform that lets users control their fitness data. Google Fit lets developers build smarter apps and manufacturers focus on creating amazing devices. Make a healthy change in your life by becoming more active, aware and motivated.
Effortlessly track your activity:
• Just carry your phone and get access to your walking, running and cycling activity.
Reach your fitness goals:
• Set goals based on either duration or steps and see your progress throughout the day.
• Receive performance-based recommendations for activity goals.
A comprehensive view of your fitness:
• Connect third party devices and apps to Fit and we’ll show you all of your fitness data in one place.
The only people who should install Google Fit anyway are those with an Android Wear device, such as the Motorola Moto 360 or the Samsung Gear Live. The app could become a great place to see your activity data plotted on graphs over time. (But, really, you should have had an app for that from the get-go.)
As a standalone app, Google Fit is just too limited right now. It only tracks you daily activity, progress toward goal, and weight. There's a space that appears to chart your heart rate, but I couldn't find any way to input it. When I installed Google Fit, the setup was quick and straightforward, in part because there isn't much to input. The app feels—er, is—very much an incomplete product. Hopefully it'll beef up over time, but right now, it's more like a pounded-down skirt steak. As with any other activity-tracking app or product, you start by entering information about yourself and your body, such as height, weight, age, and sex. Google Fit doesn't ask for more details, such as where you fit along the active-to-sedentary scale. That information is often used to better estimate calorie burn, and I guess Google Fit doesn't need to know because it doesn't estimate calorie burn.
You'll also see a number of permission requests. Google needs to know where you go in order to track your activity. If you're uncomfortable with this, you probably don't want to use a phone-based activity tracking system, period. At its most basic level, Google Fit works similarly to the Moves app, which was acquired by Facebook earlier this year. Using GPS and motion-sensing technology that's already built into your phone, it figures out how much you're moving throughout the day, and what kind of movement it is. It then keeps track of those activities, adds them all up, and weighs them against a goal you've set for yourself. With Google Fit, third-party app integrations were not yet available when I tested it. And that's confusing. If you're picking the app up in hopes of it being a finished product, with all the features in place, think again.

Top 5 Best Fitness Tracker App For iPhone
C25K For iPhone
“In any case, once you load the program on your iPod it is dummy-proof. It tells you when to start, cues your music for you and keeps a clock running on time elapsed and time remaining.” - Tracy Schoenberg
“I’ve done days one and two, and as a thirty-something who has never even tried to exercise I am so excited about this concept. I think it is building my self belief aswell as my stamina! I have started a blog to track my progress…. Sarasoptin.blogspot.com. Thanks for a really great app guys :) ”- Sara Steele
First and foremost, this is the app that got me to my 5k. Im about to delete it, but I felt obligated to write a review for anyone looking to start running. The program might not fit everyone perfectly, but, you can skip ahead or stay behind if you think you need it. At first, I would not move ahead to the next week unless you can do a couple minutes of extra run time at the end. Once I got to the end of week 5, and it wanted me to just run constantly one day, I abandoned the app for just a timer, and found I was able to progress to my 5k in only 1 week as opposed to the recommended 4. This might not be true for you, but what Im trying to show is that this app WILL help anyone who is not experienced with running.
Now, the ads are there but theyre unobtrusive. They pop up occasionally, but theyre easy to close out of. Idk whats the problem with all these babies and the ads lol, its a free app. Kw83HU
First and foremost: I am not one for exercising. Never have been. But after year after year of diets that never got me less than 10 pounds lost, I thought I'd get into running, but I didn't know how to even begin. Someone suggested this app, and it was the best suggestion I've ever gotten. I love how it tells you when to start running and walking. It really helps you want to improve. Which is why I gave it 4 stars!
Now with that being said, being in a networking and sharing world, the sharing function doesn't work right. I want to share the picture when I finish, but it only does it half the time. I have it synced with my Instagram, but it never uploads to it. It'll share a status on my Facebook and when I go back to share it on Instagram, the option to share my progress is gone. If this gets fixed, I will up the rating to five stars!! Al3shajdom21

Charity Miles
Ready to become a sponsored athlete? Simply turn on the app, choose a charity, and press start. As you exercise, we'll track your distance and the money earned. When you're finished, accept your sponsorship, spread the word, and we'll send you a note confirming your good work.
We like maps of where we ran. But we're inspired by a vision for where we're going. Which is why we made Charity Miles: To help you change the world by earning corporate sponsorships for charity when you walk, run or bike. Just choose a charity and hit the streets. As you walk, run or bike, the app will measure your distance and you will earn money for your charity: 10¢ per mile for bikers; 25¢ per mile for walkers and runners, all courtesy of our corporate sponsors like Timex Sports, Humana and Lifeway Foods.
But we're not just about earning money for charity. We're about carrying a purpose in our hearts and telling our stories through our actions. Because we believe that action speaks louder than words. And changing the world is a team sport. We'd love to have you on our team. Every mile matters!

You can compete against other runners and rides on the leaderboards as well as check out routes that other Strava users around you have already created. If you want, you can share ones you've personally created as well. Strava also works with most ANT+ and Bluetooth LE sensors to collect heart rate and cadence data.
